Handling Rejection From Publishers

Handling rejection from publishers is not easy. It can sometimes be a real letdown to find a letter coming back to you that eliminates your chances of getting your book out with a particular publisher. However, it it important to remember that most of the books that have gone down in history as great novels and many current bestsellers, went through rounds of rejection.

If you get any advice at all on things you can change to make your book a better seller, make sure you consider it. Publishing houses are in it to make money and they look for what they think will do well on the market. Sometimes, with a few minor changes, your book could be better poised to compete with other texts.
